Meg Hope, M.S., M.Div.
I am passionate about people finding the Light in the darkness. As someone who has walked through depression and suicide, both personally and with others close to me, I know all-consuming darkness. I know what it feels like when hope is unattainable. I know what it feels like to have lost sight of my purpose, when suicide becomes a viable option. On the other hand, I also know what it feels like to find hope in the darkness, to fight for my life with every single bit of strength I could muster up. I know what it feels like to battle the darkness, and win.
Hope For The Broken was an idea God gave to me in 2008, when I was at Biola University for my undergraduate degree. Though I did not quite understand all that it would become or why God had chosen me, I started on an incredible journey. Through various experiences, pain and joy, Hope For The Broken has transformed into a movement to shine hope into the darkness. I am passionate about people experiencing the love of Jesus, and the overcoming strength that one finds when they know their worth and identity.
Jesus rescued me from my brokenness because I am called to be a rescuer of the broken. I am a warrior and a forerunner. I will fight for this generation with everything God has instilled within me. Jesus is the only Light and the only Hope. Because of this truth, we have everything inside of us to beat the darkness.
